Creative Brief:
My inspiration for the Maximum Wellness design came from the feeling that one gets after visiting a chiropractor. Chiropractic’s is natural ways to re- align the spine and release energy to the rest of the body. To portray this release of energy, I used green and to portray the serenity one feels, I used blue. The butterfly represents liberation, and reincarnation. After being adjusted by the chiropractor, one feels renewed and pain free. The body operates with more energy and is increasingly flexible. While studying more about butterflies, I realized their source of food is plants. Plants feed butterflies, just like chiropractics soothes our body. I incorporated the plant motif through utilizing the antennas from the butterfly. I wanted to show the spread of energy that’s released through the body by showing the plant continuing on off the page. I used the one envelope which includes the letterhead to represent the eco friendliness of chiropractics. They don’t use medicine or drugs, but rely on their hands and aligning tools which are harmless to the environment but nurturing to the patient. Maximum Wellness is a beneficial way to take care of one’s body. My goal for my design was to incorporate the relaxation, energy, soothing feel that’s witnessed when one visit’s Maximum Wellness.

Okay, so I decided to take my logo in a different direction. I received feed back that the other logo resembled pills, so I plan to use a butterfly to show the liberation one obtains after visiting the chiropractor. Chiropractors release the energy back into people's body, so a butterfly resembles the flexibility one experiences.
