Very loose, gestural, and more playful than your previous logo. Very nice!
Now to critique:
The craftsmanship of the pen tool is not 100% consistent. The right side of the "T" needs to be smoother. The counter inside of the "P" needs to be pushed as well, were it reads more of a smooth and gestural curve...instead of "angle". The "L" could be pushed a little further too, but it's not as a huge issue as the "T" and "P".
The other thing about the logo, is working with the negative spacing between the ribbon shapes. The bottom spacing where the "T" and the "P" meet up is the right length you want consistently. The spacing between the "L" and the other initials are too narrow, and my concern is that it would get lost when the logo needs to shrink. So play around with that.
You could make your type (name) a little larger so it could balance with your illustration mark. Not to where it's heavy...just enough so it doesn't feel like it's gonna lose attention from the viewers.
Also, keep the logo and the colors in the middle, instead of opposite sides of the document. It's better presentation that way. :)
Hope this helps, and it really is an improvement from the first one Tori! :) Keep pushing!
